After such a lovely first Jazz Night, we’re delighted to welcome **Mel’s Jazz Mates** back to Bellevue for another evening of beautiful live music, thoughtfully selected wines and wonderful company.
Picture a cosy neighbourhood wine bar, the gentle rhythm of live jazz, a lovely glass of wine and plenty of time to catch up with friends.
No noisy crowds. No need to dress up. Just great music, good company and a relaxed evening right here in Balwyn North.
And this time, we’re adding **a little Spanish twist!** 🇪🇸
### 🍷 A Little Spanish Wine Discovery
Thursday 12 November happens to be **International Tempranillo Day**, and we’re celebrating with two carefully selected **premium Spanish wines** for you to discover and enjoy.
**🍷 Rioja Red — 90% Tempranillo**
A characterful red from Spain’s celebrated Rioja region, offering a lovely introduction to one of the country’s signature grapes.
**🥂 Spanish Albariño**
Fresh, vibrant and beautifully refreshing — a wonderful white wine for a spring evening in Melbourne.
**A glass of either premium Spanish wine is included in your ticket — no extra charge!**
Prefer something else? You can choose a pint of selected tap beer or a non-alcoholic alternative instead.

### 🎶 Meet the Musicians — Mel’s Jazz Mates
We’re delighted to welcome three wonderful Melbourne musicians, bringing together beautiful melodies, warm vocals and a little Latin flavour for the evening.
**Mel Tan — Vocals**
The founder and voice behind Mel’s Jazz Mates, Mel brings warmth, charm and a genuine love of jazz standards, swing and bossa nova. Her relaxed, expressive style makes every performance feel personal — as much about connecting with people as sharing beautiful music.
**Ken Cowan — Piano**
An experienced Melbourne jazz pianist, Ken has performed at venues including the Windsor and Regent. With years of live performance experience, he brings a thoughtful, melodic touch and a wonderful sense of musical connection to the trio.
**Mike Zutenis — Electric Bass**
With over 20 years of experience in Melbourne’s live music scene, Mike brings a rich musical background spanning jazz, soul and fusion.
Known for his rhythmic feel, versatility and expressive playing, Mike brings a fresh musical flavour to Mel’s Jazz Mates.
**Three wonderful musicians, one intimate neighbourhood setting — where the music is beautiful and conversation is always welcome.**
